Mike Neilson (Pitchwerks #38) and his team are about to receive the first shipment of mass-produced Switcheroos!
Switcheroo is the simple, analog way to control outlets and the devices plugged into them from an existing switch without any hassle. This means no wi-fi, no smartphone app, no wiring.
You may remember Mike as the guy who "rejected his rejection" from AlphaLab Gear.
Aaron Watson (Pitchwerks #50) held his Going Deep Summit at the end of January. It was a successful event, held at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater, going from 9:00 - 4:00 with a bouncing reception afterward.
We saw some of you there, but for those that couldn't make it, check out the video to the left, where Zak Slayback (Pitchwerks #61) gives his talk, "How to Get Ahead When You have Nothing to Offer"
Melinda Colaizzi (Pitchwerks #69) and her Women Who Rock Benefit Concert announced that the "Blind Faith General Admission" tickets are sold out.
Keep your eyes on womenwhorockpgh.com - the show lineup, the general admission and VIP tickets will be announced there soon!
The show is May 10, 2018 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh, benefiting Magee-Womens research.
If you haven't noticed, we've produced new show art for many episodes in our back catalog where we had a good cache of photographs to work from. Nearly every show from Episode 20 on has new, updated show art, like this one to the left that better captures the lovely spirit of our friend Eliada Griffin-El (Pitchwerks #26).
There are a few different styles, but they are all more colorful and engaging than the old B&W cards we had.
